The best pump-up songs for athletes

Nothing is better to get you prepared for a big game than a good pump-up song. Music is a staple to get any athlete fully ready to give their best performance. However, there is no right song to listen to. Everyone has something they uniquely like about their music. Hopefully, these suggestions can give you some ideas for the next-time you need a pre-game jam.
  Some people like some light encouragement from their playlist. Sophomore David Maleh, described what he likes to listen to before he participates in a hard-core bowling match.

“[I listen to] either bright electric music, or anything motivating,” Maleh said, “Something to get me in a good mood.”

For people looking for this type of music, Maleh suggested the song “Hall of Fame”, by The Script.
  However, if you’re like me you prefer something a little more hardcore before a game. Whether it’s classic rock or old-school rap, there’s nothing like a heavy beat before you step out onto the field. While switching up your playlist does help keep your music fresh, some songs just seem to do the trick no matter how often you play them.
