Students Go All Out For Homecoming Week
It’s that week of the year again, when everyone’s school spirit shines the brightest; it’s homecoming week. With the football team having their first home game in the last 3 weeks and the homecoming dance on Saturday, students are showing their pride by participating in all the fun themes this year.
Monday was Pajama Day, which is good for everyone who finds Monday mornings hard to wake up for. Just roll out of bed with your pajama pants or onesie and you are good to go.
If you have ever wished that you could dress like your favorite character to school, Tuesday was the ideal day for you. People filled the halls dressed as everything from vibrant characters to childhood movies, as well as other well known characters.
For Wednesday they brought back Preppy Day. With their plaid shirts and bright sweaters, students were walking the halls with a little more pep in their step.
Thursday was the perfect opportunity to see everyone’s favorite sports team with Jersey Day. From teams in the NFL to the NHL, students and teachers alike are representing their favorite teams.
Today we wrap up the week, representing our school decked out in our panther gear! Along with Darby t-shirts, many students are showing support by wearing the Miller Strong t-shirts. Getting ready for our homecoming game against Dublin Jerome, the building is full of people in blue and black attire.
