Students enjoy this year’s homecoming
With the theme “Frozen in Time”, many people came to dance and create new memories with their friends at this year’s homecoming, which took place on Saturday, September 24th in the field house.
This year the homecoming King and Queen were Seniors Christian Hill and Morgan Ford. Both were thrilled and surprised that they had won.
Hill did not think he had a great chance at winning homecoming King.
“I didn’t think I was going to win at all. I thought [someone else] was going to win,” Hill explained.
Ford is grateful for the experience and how supportive all of the students were.
“There were a lot of good candidates this year and any of them could have won,” Ford explained, ”People I didn’t even know came up to me and hugged me and I was like ‘oh my gosh, thank you so much’.”
Even people who came to homecoming for the first time had great experiences.
Sophomore Hannah Boyers went for the first time this year and was very happy with the outcome.
“My first impression of homecoming was [it] was going to be a bunch of crazy people dancing around in a really loud room but it actually turned out really nice and I spent some quality time with my friends,” Boyers elaborated.
