Something to do in quarantine
Right now during quarantine we are getting the point where we have given up hope on anything getting better. There’s nothing to do, and no one to see. Even though some things are opening back up, it’s not the fun things we enjoy. In the meantime,, here is an easy, and simple craft that takes little time and is fun to do.
This craft is considered abstract and all you need is paper or a canvas, and sharpies. It only takes a few steps and next thing you know you’re done:
- The first step to this is creating a wave-like line diagonally across the page.
- Next on that line you want to make dots which can be anywhere on that line.
- Now you want to connect each dot together
- Finally repeat that those same steppes over and over until the page is full
During this mess of which we call quarantine, I talked to some other people about this craft and what they thought.
Freshman for Darby Kenna Mitchell claimed “I would definitely do this craft, it looked easy to do and does not need lots of skill or equipment.”
I also interviewed freshman n Anna Sábado. She said, “doing a craft like this would be fun and I love how it doesn’t have to be anything specific or hard to do because I am not a good artist.”
That’s the great part about abstract art; you can’t put a name or what it’s supposed to look like. You can do anything and call it whatever you want and no one can tell you otherwise. It’s important to try new things during this time, find a new talent, or just do something that unplugs ourselves from the world for a little bit. We need to utilize our time more productively and this is the one way to do it.
