Junior Varsity soccer defeats Davidson

It was a beautiful day for a Panther victory on Thursday, September 1st. The boys Junior Varsity soccer team started the month off right with a win over Davidson. The final score was 1-0.

The first half of the game proved how good the Panthers defense is. A total of six shots were blocked by our goalie Sophomore Nick Hermosilla. Both teams fought to get a goal, but to no avail. No goals were scored by halftime

The second half of the game started off with enthusiastic Panther fans cheering on the boys. The stands erupted when Freshman Zachary Jasper scored the first and only goal of the game. With 30 minutes left to go, the Panther boys had to defend the title of winner.

The Wildcats tried in vain to get a goal for their team, yet all of the shots were blocked by the Panther’s goalie, Jacob Mowell. Overall, the Junior Varsity boys played a great game and gained a hard-fought win.

The JV Panthers will play against Dublin Scioto on Thursday September 15 at 5:30.
