Halloween DIY

This October get your spooky on with this Halloween witch potion bottle decoration.. This is a simple, cost effective DIY mostly using things laying around the house. These witch potion bottles will make your house look like you are a 21st century chic witch.
Materials

- Glass bottles
- Paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Black paint
Step One:
Start by getting old glass bottles and removing the labels. I found it best to rip off most of the label and then using a wet washcloth dabbing the residue until damp. After getting the label wet, try and scrub off the rest. If this does not work you can use a product called “Goobegone” and follow the directions from there.

Step Two:
Get black spray paint or regular paint and paint the whole bottle.
Step Three:
Make a new label with things like frog heads, lovers locks, or some other fun ‘potion’ ideas. I chose to design mine on the computer, but you could draw yours. If you do design it on the computer, I found it easiest to make on a presentation slide on google Slides rather than a computer document. This is because you can move pictures more easily on it.
Step Four:
Print off your design, cut it to size and glue it onto the bottle. Something extra I did was burn the edges of the paper carefully to make it look more authentic. Now you should be finished with your project.

I hope you enjoyed making witch potion bottles. Now your house will be decorated and ready for a Halloween party or any visitors ready for a spook.
