DIY Winter Snowflake
This winter season get your craft on! Trying to find winter DIYs is challenging to do because most are Christmas/Hanukkah themed, but these 3D DIY winter snowflakes are just right for January. These snowflakes are simple to make and look nice for wherever you desire to put them.
Materials:

- Six pieces of paper (any colors you choose)
- Scissors
- Tape
- Stapler
Step One:
Cut your paper into squares if not already. If the your paper is 8.5” by 11”, a simple way to cut it

into a square is to fold the corner to the other edge and line it up to fold then cut.
Step Two:
Fold the paper diagonally in half twice to make a triangle.

Step Three:
Cut three slots into the triangle from the side of the triangle with the fold. The cuts should be a little more than half way and each cut should be staggered slightly lower than the other.

Step Four:
Unfold the triangle flat out.

Step Five:
Take the innermost paper lines and take both points to each other and tape them to make a makeshift tube.

Step Six:
Flip the paper over and then take the second innermost paper lines and repeat by taping the points together.

Step Seven:
Then repeat step five and six until there is no more paper lines left.

Step Eight:
Make six other flakes just like step seven.

Step Nine:
Take three and staple them together and do the same with three other. Make sure to put each flake side by side.

Step Ten:
Staple the two new pieces in the center of the flakes.

Step Eleven:
Staple all flake sides together on where they meet

Step Twelve:
Hang the snowflake up by hanging a string from the center of the flake.
