Delicious Fall food to make for the holidays

It is officially the time of year where the only thing people want is to have cozy foods and drinks. Foods that have pumpkin spice or cinnamon are all bought off the shelves, with people waiting for them to be restocked at the grocery store. Instead of eating store bought foods, wouldn’t you rather make it youself?

Learn how to easily make a warm pumpkin spice drink and a cinnamon swirl crumb cake, both of which are two fall favorites that are extremely easy to make and will only take about 30 minutes to prepare.

Warm Pumpkin Spice Beverage
What you’ll need:
1 cup of very warm whole milk
¼ cup of canned pumpkin puree
½ teaspoon of pumpkin spice
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
Cinnamon (optional)
Whipped cream (optional)
Coffee (optional)

Step 1:
Place all of the ingredients (except whipped cream and cinnamon) into a blender.

Step 2:
Remove the plastic center on the middle of the blender lid and cover the hole with a paper towel so steam can come through.

Step 3:
Blend the ingredients on low and slowly increase the speed to high, blending until frothy

and then pour it into a mug.

Step 4 (Optional):
Top the drink with whipped cream and cinnamon.

Cinnamon Swirl Crumb Cake
What You’ll need:
One box of cinnamon swirl cake mix
⅔ cup of water
1 egg
1 cup of pumpkin puree
¼ teaspoon nutmeg


Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 8×8 baking pan.

Step 2:
Stir together in a large bowl water, egg, pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon crumb cake mix (the batter should be lumpy). Evenly pour and spread half of the batter into the pan and then sprinkle half of the cinnamon topping into the pan on top of the batter.

Step 3:
Put the remainder of the batter into the pan and spread it out evenly, then pour the rest if

the cinnamon topping on top.

Step 4:
Bake for 40-45 and then let cool for five minutes before serving. Enjoy!
