Boys JV Tennis Team Sweeps Davidson Off of Their Feet

Both the Varsity and JV Boys Tennis teams faced off against Hilliard Davidson Monday, April 2nd. It was a great match and both sides tried their hardest.

JV was able to win the match 4-1, only losing one doubles match. The first doubles won 6-4, 4-6, 13-11. The second doubles won 6-4, 6-1. The third doubles won 6-1, 6-2. The fifth JV doubles were able to win 6-0, 6-1, but the fourth double was not able to, and lost control of the match, losing 2-6, 6-8.

Varsity wasn’t able to hold on to the match, and lost 1-4. Only team co-captain Krishna Revur was able to win his match.

JV Sophomore Daniel Tai talked about his doubles match and he feels he and his partner did overall.

“Overall for me personally the game went great! Me and my doubles partner had pretty good synergy throughout the game and we were in control on the court most of the time,” Tai said.

This was a challenging match for the JV tennis team, but they persevered, and it is clear that the players have been preparing for a long time, and are always improving.
The team has high hopes for the rest of the season, and would love for you to come out and support them at their next game. To help support the team, come out on Monday, April 16th, where the Boys Tennis Team will face Olentangy Liberty at 4:00. The Varsity team will be at Darby and the JV team will be at Liberty.
